Bhojpur (Nepali: भोजपुर) is a small hilly remote town in Eastern Nepal. It is also the district headquarter of Bhojpur district, which is part of Koshi State. Many caste and culture lives in this remote town and the surroundings. But, it has mainly been the homes of Rais for many hundreds of years, known as Majh Kirat (Middle Kirat). As it is the district headquarter, it has more facilities than any other town or villages of the district. This hilly town is linked by air and small narrow road (trekking roads) to the other parts of the district. It has one main road, runs from one end of the town to the other – stone paved road and on either side of this paved road, both small and big houses are build. Houses are made of clay (used as morter) and stone. It is serviced with high school, electricity, health center, police station and other district government offices. It is the business centre of the district.
